Applicable to Zhangjiagang, China

  1. CHB service offered by OOCL Logistics is only applicable to general trade. 

  2. The quotation for CHB business in Zhangjiagang and Jiangyin port is per document and includes basic handling charges only, up to 6 commodity names. Each booking is subject to a maximum of 50 commodity names. Extra charges are applied on each additional page.

  3. Commodities such as but not limited to fresh foods, live animals, seeds, DG goods, and waste are not supported. 

  4. Mandatory documents required for providing customs services in Zhangjiagang and Jiangyin:

    • Commercial invoice(s) 
    • Packing list(s)
    • Customs declaration Sheet (Must include all required data elements)
    • Customer Contract
    • Advance Manifest (Must show the Vessel name, voyage, Bill of Lading number, and Container Number)

  5. Additional documents (where applicable)

    • Other documents required by customs.

  6. Only after receiving and verifying the commodity, business information and above-listed documents can OOCL Logistics confirm and arrange the CHB service.

  7. For Export CHB, please make the booking request at least two working days before the terminal closing date. Necessary documentation must be submitted unsolicited. Otherwise, the CHB service cannot be guaranteed.

  8. For Export CHB, OOCL Logistics would handle all customs clearance within the terminal closing date. Customers must advise OOCL Logistics if they need their customs cleared before that date.

  9. For Import CHB, customs duties, value-added tax and other taxes shall be paid by the customer directly to customs. 

  10. OOCL Logistics reserves the right to dismiss any customs clearance order for causes including but not limited to the buyer being in payment default, documents missing for due and proper customs declaration and goods being described inadequately.

  11. The customer will be responsible for all costs incurred from the delay beyond OOCL Logistics’ control (e.g., an act of God or strike); the same applies but is not limited to awaiting mandatory documents, payment, customs holds, Port Authority holds, and vessel delays.

Export CHB Surcharge List

  1. Additional page of HS Code: CNY 50 per additional page, until page 5.

    Note: Maximum 50 commodities in one customs declaration. 6 HS codes on the first page, 14 HS codes on the second page, 14 HS codes on the third page, 14 HS codes on the fourth page, and 2 HS codes on the fifth page. 

  2. Inspection Agency Charge: CNY 300 per BL, if applicable.

  3. Inspection Charge: As per outlay, if applicable.

  4. Seal Fee: CNY 100, if container inspection applicable.

  5. Carrier Charges: As per cost, if applicable.

  6. Charges are subject to VAT 6%

Import CHB Surcharge List

  1. Additional page of HS Code: CNY 50 per additional page.

  2. Customs Inspection Service Charge: CNY 300 per container, if applicable.

  3. Customs Inspection Charge: As per cost, if applicable.

  4. CIQ Inspection Service Charge: CNY 300 per container, if container inspection occurs at FND.

  5. CIQ Inspection Charge: As per cost, if applicable.

  6. Carrier Charges: As per cost, if applicable.

  7. Charges are subject to VAT 6%.
