E-Customs Solution Terms & Conditions

Applicable to Indonesia

1.    Quotation on the E-CHB platform for CHB business in Indonesia (PEB) is per document and includes EDI charges only. 

2.    Handling charges of IDR 300,000 per container will be incurred for CHB services in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Semarang, whilst for service in Belawan, the handling charge is adjusted to IDR 800,000 for the first container, IDR 350,000 for the second container and onwards.

3.    All charges are subject to VAT 1.1%.

4.    Mandatory documents required for providing customs services in Indonesia:
•    Valid business license and export permit; all permits/licenses related to the exported goods
•    Original commercial invoice(s) and packing list(s)
•    Copy of Export Delivery Order/Shipping line booking confirmation
•    Original licenses and Certificates for restricted goods

5.    Only after receiving and verifying the business information and the above-listed documents can OOCL Logistics confirm and arrange the CHB service.

6.    Please make the booking request at least two working days before the container stuffing date. Necessary documentation must be submitted unsolicited. Otherwise, the CHB service cannot be guaranteed.

7.    OOCL Logistics reserves the right to dismiss any customs clearance order for causes including but not limited to the buyer being in payment default, documents missing for due and proper customs declaration and goods being described inadequately.

8.    The customer will be responsible for all costs incurred from the delay which are beyond OOCL Logistics’ control (e.g., the act of God or strike), same applies but is not limited to awaiting mandatory documents, awaiting payment, customs hold, Port Authority holds and vessel delays.

9.    For pure CHB business, OOCL Logistics is not responsible for paying in advance, on behalf of the customer, to third parties for their reimbursement charges, including but not limited to Port Storage charges, Depot charges and Carrier Charges.
