When your cargo is sensitive to dirt, moisture, or odours, container condition matters. Choose a clean, food-grade container with Grade A Container that helps protect cargo quality and reduce condition-related risk when you book an E-Spot shipment.

Every Grade A Container is inspected at the depot before release. Only containers that meet our defined condition standards are assigned to your order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Grade A Container is an additional service for FreightSmart E-Spot. It allows you to request dry containers that are inspected before release to confirm they meet higher condition standards and are ready for food-grade or similar cargo transportation.
You can select Grade A Container as an Additional Service or as part of a Smart Combo when creating your E-Spot order.
The service applies to all containers in the E-Spot order. If you only require it for selected containers, create a separate E-Spot order for those containers. The service charge is calculated per container and applies to every container in the order.
Grade A Container is available for 20GP, 40GP and 40HQ dry containers. Availability depends on your selected origin port and departure date. 
Grade A Container is currently available at selected origin ports. The service is subject to equipment availability.
