Extending free time (previously shown as Purchase Extra D&D) allows you to extend detention and/or demurrage free time when you submit E-Spot or E-Quote bookings.
Before you start
- Free time extension option should be available for your preferred E-Spot or E-Quote quotation
Extend free time when you submit a booking
Book E-Spot with Extra Free Time
- In Create E-Spot Order, find the Select Smart Combo Offer section.
- Select a Smart Combo with a free time extension option.
- Check the Summary panel and confirm the updated ocean freight rate after your selection.
- Continue your booking and click Place Order when you are ready.
Book Secured E-Quote with Extra Free Time
1. In Secured Your E-Quote page, find the Select Smart Combo Offer section.
2. Select a Smart Combo with a free time extension option.
3. Check the Summary panel and confirm the updated ocean freight rate after your selection.
4. Continue your booking and click Secure Rates when you are ready.
