FreightSmart helps you get an instant ocean freight quote by entering your basic shipping requirements: route, dates, container type, and quantity.  

Before you start

• You must be signed in to FreightSmart.
• Your account must have completed company verification or be associated with a verified company.
• Trial users can get a quote but may not proceed to subsequent steps. 

Get a quote

1. Go to Dashboard. This is the first page you see after signing in.
2. Find the Get Quote with FreightSmart section.
3. Enter your origin and destination. 
4. Select a date, container type, and quality. 
5. Click Get Quote to view results.

Browse quotations

Search Results are grouped by available E-Spot and E-Quote quotations. You will see these available quotations:

If you have valid E-Quote quotations, you can find them in My Quote & Book and submit bookings directly.

View rates by dates

You can view available rates for different dates in the date selection bar at the top of the results:

• E-Quote quotes are shown by Quotation Valid Date.
• E-Spot quotes are shown by Departure Date.

Apply filters to refine results

1. On the Search Results page, find Search Criteria on the left.
2. Update the criteria or add any optional filters you need.
3. Click Search to refresh your results.

View quotation details

1. In your preferred E-Quote or E-Spot option, click Details.
2. Review quotation information in the tabs, such as Surcharge Details, Conditional Charges, and other available sections.
3. When you are ready to proceed, click Select to start the booking process.

Complete your booking 

Once you have chosen your preferred Secured E-Quote or E-Spot, you may proceed to the next step in creating a Secured E-Quote or creating an E-Spot order to complete your booking process.
