Submit an E-Spot booking

After you create an E-Spot order, you can use the reserved space to submit your shipping booking in FreightSmart. 

Before you start

  • You have created an E-Spot order.
  • You have your shipping details ready. Refer to the checklist below:

Submit an E-Spot booking

  1. Find your E-Spot order. You can:
    • Click Book Now if you have just created the order.
    • Go to My Quote & Book and find orders with the status Ready for Booking.
  2. Click Submit Booking in Actions ( … ) to open the booking form.
  3. Follow the screen and complete the booking details.
  4. Review all information carefully.
  5. Click Submit Booking.

Once your booking is submitted successfully, a booking number will be generated for your new booking. You can go to My Quote & Book to check the newly created booking and keep following the shipment status. The booking number will also appear under the related E-Spot order record.
