After you create an E-Spot order, you can use the reserved space to submit your shipping booking in FreightSmart.
Before you start
- You have created an E-Spot order.
- You have your shipping details ready. Refer to the checklist below:

Quick check before you submit an E-Spot booking

Submit an E-Spot booking
- Find your E-Spot order. You can:
- Click Book Now if you have just created the order.
- Go to My Quote & Book and find orders with the status Ready for Booking.
- Click Submit Booking in Actions ( … ) to open the booking form.
- Follow the screen and complete the booking details.
- Review all information carefully.
- Click Submit Booking.
Once your booking is submitted successfully, a booking number will be generated for your new booking. You can go to My Quote & Book to check the newly created booking and keep following the shipment status. The booking number will also appear under the related E-Spot order record.

| E-Spot orders are time-sensitive. If you do not submit any booking within 24 hours of order creation, the order will be cancelled automatically, and no cancellation fee will apply. However, while you can submit bookings of part of the reserved space in an E-Spot order, any remaining, unsubmitted space will not be automatically cancelled after the 24-hour period, and cancellation fees may apply, subject to the terms of the E-Spot quotation. |
