E-Quote vs. E-Spot – What’s The Difference?

• E-Quote offers quotations for more cargo types including Dangerous Goods at (comparatively) stable prices, which remain valid for a period. This certainty of pricing within the validity period makes E-Quote better suited for markets where immediate space and equipment commitment is a lower priority.  
• E-Spot offers transactional spot freight pricing for General Cargo, Reefer Cargo, and Non-operating reefer (NOR), with space and equipment protection. It is more suitable for companies with lower freight density or consistency, such as those whose business is seasonal. It is also convenient to cover unexpected or last-minute shipments and for occasional volume spikes.
